Create a QR code with your logo.
A black and white code next to your logo looks out of place on flyers and packaging. Here you put your logo in the middle of the code. The generator picks the highest error correction for it and checks that the code still scans.

- PNG, JPEG or GIF up to 500 KB

- PNG, SVG and print PDF
How your logo gets into the QR code
Four steps, all on this page.
- 1
Enter the content
Link, text, contact or Wi-Fi. The shorter the content, the smaller you can print the code later.
- 2
Upload your logo
Under “Look” you choose your logo as PNG, JPEG or GIF up to 500 KB. It then sits in the middle of the code.
- 3
Choose the logo size
The logo starts at 22 % of the edge. Larger works as long as the check below the preview blocks nothing.
- 4
Create and test
Download the code and scan the test print with two different phones.
Why the code still scans with a logo
Every QR code carries error correction: extra data the phone uses to fill in covered or damaged areas. The ISO/IEC 18004 standard defines four levels.
Four levels
L restores about 7 % of the data, M about 15 %. Q manages about 25 %, H about 30 %. With a logo the generator picks H automatically.
Limits for the logo
Our check blocks logos above 34 % of the edge at H. At Q the limit is 30 %, at M 22 %, and L takes no logo.
Print it a little larger
More error correction means more modules. A link of up to 42 characters has 29 × 29 modules at M, with a logo at H 37 × 37. For a 20 cm distance that is 3 instead of 2.5 cm.
Common mistakes
Logo too large
A logo above the limit covers more than error correction can fill in. The check blocks it; a smaller logo solves that.
Too little contrast
A light code on a light background is hard to read. The check blocks colours under 2.5 : 1 contrast and suggests stronger ones under 4 : 1.
Only tested on screen
On a monitor almost any code scans. What counts is a test print at the real size, scanned with two phones.
A logo code with a changeable target?
In your account you design the same code with your logo as a dynamic code. You can then change the target after printing too, and you see every scan. In the free account every code is active for 7 days from creation, then paused until you choose a paid plan.
Frequently asked questions
Does a logo make a QR code harder to scan?
Not as long as the logo stays within the limit and the contrast is right. Error correction fills in the covered modules, and the check blocks logos that are too large.
Which files can I upload as a logo?
PNG, JPEG or GIF up to 500 KB. The logo comes as a file from your device, not as a web address.
How large can the logo be?
It starts at 22 % of the edge. With error correction H up to 34 % works; the check blocks larger logos.
Do you store my logo?
Not without an account: the logo only ends up in the file you download. In your account we store it with your code.
